SNES cartridge tray

By Byteworks

One-piece SNES cartridge stand with an editable 'cartridges' count: a floor, a front panel leaning back at the same tilt as the fins, equal-height fins leaning back, and end walls with a level top that no longer rises toward the back. The controller logo is a separate raised part on the front panel.

Prompt that made this

A stackable storage tray for Super Nintendo (SNES) game cartridges. Each tray holds several cartridges lying flat in a row, with a pocket sized for a cartridge of about 102 x 66 x 13 mm plus about 0.5 mm clearance per side, and a finger notch on one edge for easy removal. The trays stack vertically and lock together with matching tabs on the top and sockets on the bottom so the stack stays aligned and does not slide. Include a flat base plate so the bottom tray stands stable on a desk or shelf. Use sensible defaults for wall thickness (about 2.5 mm), tray height (about 16 mm) and number of cartridges per tray (4).

Why this one

Desk or shelf display of a chosen number of SNES game cartridges on a single level, all at the same height.

Cartridges lean back at an angle in parallel slots between fins of equal height, the front panel leaning at the same angle. Each cartridge is staggered back from the one in front, so its top is level and the upper part of its label shows above the fin in front. The floor and end walls stop the cartridges sliding and make the stand body one solid. A separate logo plate sits on the front panel for decoration.
