Free DAE to STL converter. Runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your computer. Preview the model, then download the STL.

Good to know

SketchUp exports DAE in inches more often than not. Use ×25.4 to scale inches to millimeters.

How it works

  1. 1Drop your DAE file in the box above. It is read in your browser.
  2. 2Check the preview and the size. If the DAE came in meters or inches, set the scale.

Questions

Is the DAE to STL converter free?
Yes. You get 3 runs a month without an account. Sign in with your email, free, and there is no limit.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and converted in your browser. It never reaches our servers.
Will the STL keep colors and materials?
No. STL has no place for colors, materials, and separate parts, so only the shape carries over.
What units is the STL in?
