Voloom vs Meshy: functional parts or sculpted models
The short answer
Use Voloom when the size matters: a bracket that has to fit, a box with a lid, a gear. Use Meshy for shapes you would sculpt: a dragon, a character, a game asset with textures.

Pick Voloom if
- The part has to fit something, so you need exact dimensions.
- You want to change a size later without starting over.
- You need STEP, or cut files for a laser or CNC.
Pick Meshy if
- You want a figurine, a character or something organic.
- You need textures, or files for a game engine or Blender.
- The look matters more than the measurements.
Questions
Can Meshy make parametric models?
Meshy makes meshes, and its pricing page lists mesh and scene formats such as STL, OBJ and BLEND. Voloom builds the model from its dimensions, so a size can change and the part rebuilds.
Can I 3D print models from both?
Yes. Both download STL. Voloom also downloads 3MF.
